Digital Storyteller based in Edinburgh.
I’m a multimedia storyteller that seeks out the extraordinary within the everyday. Listening and connecting with people is at the heart of my work. I enjoy finding innovative and engaging ways to share stories to a wide and diverse audience. From live storytelling events and podcasting, to collaborations with visual artists & data visualisations, I’m always learning and exploring creative formats to reach diverse audiences.
I recently earned an MSc in Digital Journalism, where I expanded my skills in big data, multimedia, and algorithmic journalism. My dissertation focused on the visual framing of refugees from Syria and Ukraine.
In recent years, I have also worked as a freelance community storyteller for The Refugee Buddy Project. I was keen to move into more creative work after a decade-long, exciting career in film and TV post production coordination and management.
